PSB Synchrony One Speaker System:
L/R Sensitivity: 89.5 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz Center Sensitivity: 89.5 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz Surround Sensitivity: 86 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Synchrony One L/R (purple trace), HD10 subwoofer (blue trace), Synchrony One C center channel (green trace), and Synchrony S surround (red trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes. The Synchrony One's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +1.18/–2.24 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 56 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 50 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 3.32 ohms at 70 Hz and a phase angle of –37.55 degrees at 27 Hz. The Synchrony One C's listening-window response measures +1.65/–2.96 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +0.88/–3.16 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 72 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 58 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.04 ohms at 141 Hz and a phase angle of –47.52 degrees at 59 Hz. The Synchrony S's three-face averaged response measures +1.87/–2.24 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 94 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 79 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.43 ohms at 232 Hz and a phase angle of –51.75 degrees at 132 Hz. The HD10's close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 32 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 30 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 120 Hz using the LFE input.—MJP
