mStation 2.1 Stereo Tower iPod System:
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the 2.1 Stereo Tower Speaker Cylinder (purple trace) and Woofer (blue trace). The left channel was measured with the grille at a distance of 1 meter. The 2.1 Stereo Tower Speaker Cylinder’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures + 2.21 /– 0.99 decibels from 300 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 284 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 240 Hz. The Woofers’s close-miked response, normalized to the level at 100 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 63 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 46 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 174 Hz.—MJP
