Blockbuster Via TiVo Goes Live Bookmark and Share
October 21, 2009 — Remember when we first reported on the partnership of Blockbuster and TiVo? The service went live this week.

If you own a TiVo Series2, Series3, HD, or HD XL DVR, you can rent movies. You don't even need to sign up for a subscription, though you do of course need a broadband connection. Pricing is $3.99 for new titles and $2.99 for older ones.

Blockbuster has been playing catch-up with its main rival Netflix, which offers streaming in many devices. Most recently, Blockbuster teamed up with Samsung.
