Mitsubishi WD-57731 RPTV
![]()
Features We Miss: Three-chip designs with native 1080p pixel counts coming to market soon in same price range At A Glance: In the eyes (and stores) of many Mitsubishi is thebig screen TV company, and hot sets like the WD-57731 are the reason why. This set is loaded with features that count, like dual HDMI and IEEE 1394 inputs, and HD tuners. We were a mite disappointed with the blacks and contrast, so this isn't exactly a movie lover's dream. But with HD sources like sports and other brighter fare the big Mits is big, bright and chock full of snappy detail. If film noir isn't often on the marquee in your home theater this Mits might fit the bill.
